Forest and agricultural properties are a heterogeneous category, consisting of diverse estates where no two are alike.

The market can be divided into several categories, each requiring specialized expertise in its respective area.

Forest properties

In order to collect data for a value assessment of forest properties, in-depth knowledge of forest classification, forest estimation, interpretation of forestry plans and statistics etc. is required. The basis for a forest valuation is then a comprehensive local price investigation of similar objects that were sold on the open market. The market analysis also forms an important part of the basis.

Estates and mansions

Valuation of estates and mansions - one of Forum's special areas. Large estates are often very complex with several constituent parts such as castles, manors, large economic buildings and housing stock, large areas of forest and agricultural land, attractive hunting, gravel estates, etc. several lotteries as a result. The expertise is gathered by our authorized agricultural valuers at Forum, which is an advantage as several partial valuations from different valuers do not need to be mixed together.

Agricultural properties

Agricultural properties have different operating orientations and markets, which means that the value is dependent on the profitability of these. Dairy farms differ from grain farms and horse farms form their own niche in the market. This places great demands on the appraiser to follow this special market and know the price picture in "his" area.

Here too, Forum uses a local price investigation of similar agricultural properties as a basis for the value assessment.
